I didn’t spend much time on checking out the various themes available and went with the look we had. In the coming weeks, I am going to change the look and leave it on for a week. Based on our romeos feedback, we can settle on a look we all like. Please comment on how you like this one!
Personally, I like this one better just for the fact you could change the header image to anything we want!! Right now, the spotlight is on the few of the romeos…
Right to left..
Myself (had to sacrifice my face for the romeos ;-p), Guru, Ravi.S., Suren, Ravi Kannan, K.Ramesh, Ramesh & Thiru!
Please comment on what you think guys!!

Just stumbled across this blog.. Chennaiist. It is similar to what we are doing here.. a multi-author blog! Just about Chennai!!
I think this blog says a lot about how I visualize our blog to be in a year or so.. It’s not just a medium to share information between us.. we could make it interesting to other readers as well!!
To guage a little bit more about whoever is visiting our blog these days.. I am thinking of posting a few polls this week!
Right now, please do leave a comment on how you would like this blog to shape up.. like which categories do you think we should post more on and such!

hi, u all must have heared or read the news of latest addition to Chennai Cops is there new Accent Cars.!!!!!!!!! It is wonderful to see our cops in that NYPD style as quoted in NDTV.
In my place many cops take there new cars for a round with all lights on.!!!!!!!!!will these cars helps to bring down the crime rate in city????? ya we should be optimistic with these they will bring down the bad image of police and be public friendly and make crime free surrounding!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In order to these there salary should also be increased in such a way that cops dont get bribe on the road which spoils the image of police.!!!
Many thanks to Hyundai motors for there service.!!!!

What would be more fitting for a first post than telling the world a little bit about Chennai? From Wikipedia,
Chennai pronunciation (Tamil: சென்னை), formerly known as Madraspronunciation , is the capital of the state of Tamil Nadu and is India’s fourth largestcity. It is located on the Coromandel Coast of the Bay of Bengal. With an estimated population of 7.60 million (2006), the 368-year-old city is the 36th largest metropolitan area in the world. The city is a large commercial and industrial centre, and is known for its cultural heritage and temple architecture. Chennai is the automobile capital of India, with a major percentage of the automobile industry having a base there and with a major portion of the nation’s vehicles being produced there. Chennai is also referred to as the Detroit of South Asia. It has also become a major center for outsourced jobs from the Western world. The 12-kilometre long Marina Beach forms the city’s east coast and is one of the longest beaches in the world. The city is known for its sport venues and hosts India’s only ATP tennis event, the Chennai Open.
Although not a really news to most of you, I still am fascinated by the special ‘madras baashai’ section and how extensively they explain the unique slang that some of us have grown up in!!
